Calahonda, Costa del Sol: For the history of Calahonda see Calahonda Calahonda can

and to the west past you can walk along the beach all the way to
Marbella, passing the Artola dunes [a protected national park] with
it´s restored moorish lookout tower

Puerto Cabopino is surrounded by wide,
fine sandy beaches, in the main season life guards watch the activities. On the beach are Chiringuitos, bars and restaurants for your pleasure.

On the Marbella side the sand dunes are a protected which incorporate
a nudist beach. A very tranquil area where wild plants and flowers grow in the sand. Dunes that have witnessed the passage and footprints of many cultures
which create a semi wild environment due to the lack of any kind
of construction.

dating back to Roman times. Their purpose was to give warnings of
